Hot dogs and chicken nuggets havent killed 2700 and caused significant damage to thousands nor are they dangerous for children and nobody is lying to me trying to convince me to eat them . They have been vetted over time . No one knows what will be the effect long term of the gene altering effects of the vaccine . What type of person would post trash like that ?

My last word on this... a special kind of stupid is an insult and I can't remember any time insulting, harassing, bullying and hating on those you were trying to convince ever worked, unless you beat them enough they fall into place.

I know a lot of healthcare workers who have all had the same conversation with anti-vaxers in hospital.

"Why don't you want the vaccine?"
"I want to be careful about what I put in my body."
"I just gave you an IV and three pills and you didn't ask me one question about those."

I've already received my first shot of Pfizer 🤷‍♂️ just waiting for my second one.
edit: I've received my second shot now, side effects are more worse than the first one (like a full blown flu), but have started to slowly get better.

I got my vaccine 3 months ago because of my constant involvement with the VA, but I don't blame anti vaxxers for their hesitance. The US government doesn't have a very good track record when it comes to human experimentation, and honesty about it.........or honesty about anything for that matter.

It is pretty ridiculous. But I look at the motives. The people who are wearing masks, keeping their distances and getting vaccinated are trying to preserve their lives and health and that of the people in their communities. Possibly if everyone had done that from the beginning this virus would’ve gone the way of polio and smallpox.
But with it having been so heavily politicized we will never know.

With FDA approval of the Pfizer vaccine maybe a few million more people will do the wise thing and get the shot now.

If the last sentence had been omitted, I would have agreed with you. We have a miracle-quality vaccine something like the Salk polio vaccine in the 50s (which was also derided by some). The risk from covid is so much greater than any from the vaccines.
But calling people stupid will not win hearts and minds.

I got mine as soon as I could.

People always like to rebel against something and feel this is the time for doing just that. Maybe people's reactions against Penicillin may have been the same at one time and vaccines for smallpox etc. In the end, it comes down to a choice but if we have the means to help stop this virus it's a risk worth taking.
