Seems like that was a particularly popular time to adopt the hairstyle thanks to the low maintenance and low stakes since we were all stuck inside and couldn’t go to the salon anyway. That’s when I shaved mine and I’ve absolutely loved it ever since, honestly doubt I’ll grow it out for a very long time if ever, buzzed is just so much nicer than all that high maintenance hair and it suits me so well. Anyone else end up trying it out and feeling the same way?
I shaved my hair off recently because it was falling out after chemo. It took me a bit to get used to it, but I find that I also like how I look bald. I never thought I had the face shape to pull off the look like some women could. 😄 It’s also nice to not have to maintain the curls every day. I like dangly earrings. Couldn’t wear those before with the way I styled my hair (I let the curls do whatever they wanted, and my ears weren’t visible). It’s a fun change.

No, I did it before, back in 2015, because my Aunt was undergoing radiation therapy for breast cancer.
No way! I love long hair and the maintenance is worth it.

@MsSwan Used to have long hair like all the way down to my lower back and would freak out if anyone cut off more than like an inch. Crazy how much I’ve changed, but yeah long hair is super valid also, so many ways to style it. I’ve always just been too lazy to take care of it properly lol

I thought you was asking if anyone gave head during covid
my bad
minxy · 46-50, F
After.
It was falling out.
Made less mess to shave.
My husband shaves it but not bald just close. It saves us a lot of money and time. And it's easy.

@Spoiledbrat Same here I shave it as close as possible with the clippers I have but never shiny bald just a nice short layer of peach fuzz. Used to spend like hundreds on haircuts and now I can just run clippers across it once every week or so for free it’s great. Ends up looking better for longer too since it doesn’t get all greasy and flat the day after I take a shower anymore, just wake up every day already looking great.

I did my own close hair cut and saved major money. Haven’t gone back to a barber in three years.

was shaving my head long before it became convenient to do so with covid. The fun of male pattern baldness
baldandbadd · 26-30, F
I shaved what was left of my hair when I was 17. Because of alopecia, I was for the most part bald
Did it long before, also did it after. Didn't shave it during for no particular reason
I don’t have the head shape. I’ll stick with the bobs.

No, went the opposite, too long
looping · 18-21
nah my hair grew crazy long
Nope. I grew out mermaid hair then trimmed it myself a few times.
ViciDraco · 36-40, M
I like not having the maintenance of buzzed but nobody thinks i look good that way. 🤷‍♂️
Heney · 18-21, F
@ViciDraco It is a rather head shape specific cut tbf but I still say if you like it that’s what matters everyone else can shut up
smileylovesgaming · 31-35, F
No. Why would u do that?
MonaMartinez86 · 36-40, F
No it wasn’t cancer

I did the opposite. I grew really long hair back then and I still have it now
