I started back to the gym 6 weeks ago. I used to run 14 miles fun runs for charity and trained in Karate. After my last run of cancer treatment it left me weak and getting back to fitness is going to be a long road. Just take it slow and build up and you will get there. Good luck

So keep at it. Get back into the routine and you’ll be back at your old workout pace before you know it. You’re not weak. If you were, you wouldn’t be at least trying to go back to the gym.
