what are some reasons you don't follow people back after they friended/followed you?

You follow people because they have demonstrated an ability to post posts containing valuable wisdom or some other desirable facet..

You can only expect them to follow you if you are producing posts of value for them..

I have had 5 users follow me in about 3 months, all new ( 1 - 3 months ) I wait about a week,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Then block them.

I only follow back users I’ve interacted with and like. Basically the same circumstances of me answering PMs I get. Every once in a while I’ll follow them first if I like them enough.

I look at their profile and if it's full of sexual nasty stuff or grotesque fetishes I'm not going to follow them back.
I also watch for awhile how they interact with other people.
I'm not interested in friending mean people who can't bother to be civil.

If they’re interested in me, there’s obviously something wrong with them

If their profile has no posts.

I look at their profile, and if their posts are all pervy, I don't follow back.

If they don't seem active after they add me or sometimes I honestly forget to make sure I added them

I’ve not interacted with them at all on posts so I don’t know/ understand why they’re following me and Stranger danger.

If I don't interact with them due to the type of material they post, certain comments on posts or no posts on profile.

if we haven't interacted, their page is empty, or they appear to lack basic human decency/common sense

Besides what was mentioned I also have special category called " I'm not in the mood to add anyone" 😆

1) I don't trust that they are who they say they are
2) I think they have ulterior motives
3) They were rude or disrespectful towards me in their messages.

Blank profile for starters

haven't interacted with them, blank profiles, obvious catfish, etc.
