I am unblocking people on my block list. I do not even know them or how or why they were blocked.

I always make a note as to why I block someone. If it's an offence of extremity (racist posting, always negative/personally offensive) they stay blocked. Otherwise I often 'forgive' and give them another chance.

Everyone on my block list is there for a very very good reason. If you made it there. You're doing life. There is no get out of jail card.

Usually if it’s reached the point of blocking someone, there’s a good reason so I’m not concerned if I don’t remember specifics. Sometimes people change names which might contribute to my not remembering. But unless they’re confirmed by Admin as no longer being an SW user, they’re staying blocked.

I only block someone if I really mean it, and I never unblock anyone because of that. So once a year or so I just free up blocks by going through and removing anyone who’s profile pic has become that purplish X 🤷‍♂

I feel thankful to now have some breathing room after getting unblocked.

You'd probably have to at least click someone's profile to accidentally block someone. Not sure if a confirmation dialog appears when you click it.

You can decide to do so hastily, i've done so, but I will never unblock them.
