Andrew the owner actually lives in Trinidad and Tobago. He's an investor into loads of companies and a dedicated Christian.
Nuno the main developer lives in Ireland I think.
So sadly I don't believe there is the English connection you hoped for.

I’m an American so I’ll give a normal volumed hello.
But for me it depends on the time of day. I know people are from various countries and continents so I don’t assume anything. But sometimes it’s a giveaway in terms of spelling or slang.
I do get thrown off by those in Australia sometimes because they’re from the future. 😐

You're not wrong there! It does seem to mostly be people from the US. How are you? I hope all is well. You make me dream of beautiful Italian landscapes.😊

You mean there's more to the world than Chicago....now you're freaking me out🌎Actually I prefer chatting with people from other countries.....There are so many cultures to learn about!!!

Americans don't exist. The country of 'America' doesn't exist.
There is North America and South America (continents) but no country called 'America' or having that word in it's name bar the USA. However that doesn't make the country 'America'. It's an assemblage of independent state legislatures.
There is the USA where USAsians live. 8-) Donald Trump is a USAsian.

Hello proudly british!!
SpudMuffin · 61-69, M
UK here. American culture is very inward looking, education, news media, film & TV. They don't seem to know or care about anything that goes on beyond their borders, they assume everything is American.
wildbill83 · 41-45, M
@SpudMuffin I'm fine with discussing UK politics... I won't get arrested for it... 😏
SpudMuffin · 61-69, M
@wildbill83 neither will I.

While Americans are people too. It is irritating at times to see how some of them tend to believe the the act of being American means their opinion is somehow valid, without having been thought about at all.😷
adhane05 · 31-35, M
It bothers me sometimes too as an American.

This site is kind of a follow up to Experience Project, it was based in San Francisco Ca.

I thought everyone was British
pdockal · 56-60, M
No, similarworlds.com was not created in the UK. The founder is Andrew Davis, and corporate profiles indicate the company is based in the United States
supersnipe · 61-69, M
Not American 🙂
AdmiralPrune · 41-45, M
Is unnerving really the correct word?
AdmiralPrune · 41-45, M
@Strictmichael75 I agree. But it’s not what I asked her.
Why would someone incorrectly guessing your nationality be unnerving?
I’m guessing this is sensationalisation.

@AdmiralPrune she never said that
She simply made a remark saying the site seems to be dominated by Americans
Nothing else

@Strictmichael75 It’s the title of the post
It’s right up there in big bold letters.
It’s really unnerving to see that some Americans assume everyone on here is American.
