@Torsten Yes okay fair point. However if they then decided to transition to have the male genitalia (biologically they're still female) would you still think the same 🤔 school policy is to have only female members of staff present 🤷

that person is still a female, no matter what they do to themselves. they are just living as the opposite sex but it still does not make them that and I dont think they should be allowed on the other side of it, like if that female was put to be a carer for a boy instead of a girl.
If they keep their opinions and identity politics to themselves and just be professional, i think it shoudl stay the same and if they cant do that. They should all be fired and not allowed to work around children

Children need to be free to live they change their minds all the time. One week my child likes one item to eat the next week she can't stand it. A child is not able to make an informed decision that will affect the rest of their life. Parents who take what a child says one time when they're 5 years old and develops the rest of their life around that decision is child abuse. Let the child grow up when the child reaches 18 if they want to be chemically castrated and mutilate their genitalia that's their decision you can't take out a loan until you're 18. You can't get a tattoo till you're 18. You can't go off and fighting wars through conscript unless you're 18. So why are we letting people who are under the age of reason determine whether they get chemically castrated and their body mutilated through chemicals at such a young age.

I think I would have to disagree, (as far as the person not being allowed to be present goes) as by the same token, if the child/parent of the child wants same-sex care only I would want them to be able to decline a man who 'identifies as' a women. The person in question could/should probably excuse themselves, but in factual terms they are still a woman.

It's a fraught situation undoubtedly. Without knowing what the procedure is it is difficult to be precise but if it is something medically-related I would raise the question of whether healthcare professionals may only deal with same-sex patients (disregarding whatever may be preferable protocol).

@pdockal If it's stated in a care plan two females present and one identifies as a male that's going against the policy. Parents have a say when it comes to personal care.

Transition is a lie, castration and hysterectomy are mutilations, there's no telling people. Go have surgery and then attempt to mate. It's gruesome.
