How often do you see a venting post here, and wish you could hear the other persons side of the story?

Only if it's someone complaining about another user here and especially if it's a popular regular doing the venting. I've been subject to popular users making posts about me and playing the victim when I was the one being harassed by them. Of course, everyone just eats it right up and sympathizes with them, lol. Even if they knew the truth, they would still be supporting their BS because that's just the community we have here. But that's all okay, because it's helped me learn not to take things at face value around here when people start talking about other users or situations.

I can't speak for anyone else on this site but when I vent, I tell the whole story, unfiltered.

I struggle to read most vent texts as they're a wall of text, no sections, all slang and they speak as if you have known them fot ten years giving little to no context or consideration for the reader who is reading out of a strangers diary.

Sometimes I manage go get the sense of what they're feeling and can comment based on that, but overall I scroll past wall texts unless I know it's from someone who articulate well.

There is always a different side/POV to every story.

I have made several posts about this over the years. And if you dare ask about the other side of the story you are automatically branded as a gaslighting narcissist and an insensitive meanie. 🤣

Just like spreading a rumor. Most times it's the others fault who spreads the rumor
