Some people love the block button, my opinion is the only real reason to block someone is if there is continued confrontation but there's at least a dozen other reasons that people do that are silly. If you're going to be a regular here then eventually you'll find the people that you enjoy interacting with most and stick with them

Yeah, need a thick skin and lots of use of filters and blocks, otherwise a lot of people are out of here like a shot. There are decent folks but you need to stick around for a long time to find them, I think.

Sometimes that happens online and other times on sites it is good.

They tend to strike early on in the process. However, it’s a freak show here at times.

Are you saying she dmed you out of the blue? There was no post or discussion you guys had in comments first? That's usually what triggers people. Disagreeing respectfully can be hard for some. It's good she blocked you though since neither liked eachother.

Sadly, anonymity and a lack of consequences for being a troll seems to bring out the worst in some people. Not everyone her is an asshat. Use block and mute and hang in there. You might meet some cool folks.

General warning is that you will come across unhinged people on here. Just like in society, people have issues. The good thing is that you can block them and that fixes the problem. I've almost 500 people blocked.

There's some nice people here but there's also an awful lot of weirdos. You have to kiss a lot of frogs, as they say...

Stick around. There will always be trolls on any site, but most people here are accommodating to newbies.

some people are shady while others are nice I had a few that tried to take me from my girlfriend here

There's some folks who assume every new user is a fake account of various people already here. There's also some folks who randomly message anyone with an F tag for perverse reasons.

If you can survive those long enough to interact with the more sincere people around, then you'll be fine here.
