How often do you change your vehicles?

Do you keep them a long time or trade them every other year?
rjc3656-60, M Best Comment
I have a tendency to keep them until they get to the point they are not worth much.

Every three years. I buy them off a two year lease and finance it for three years or until the warranty ends. I've been doing that for awhile.

I'm kinda attached to my vehicle. Esp. since I don't have any accident in them...so I kinda consider them lucky...and even talk to them. 馃槄

I think i asked a similar question to this about a week ago. I've owned 3 cars. The first was from 2005-2008, a 1993 honda accord 馃槅. I was 17 when I got it. The 2nd was 1998 infinti from 2008-2016. Now i have a 2013 honda accord i bought in 2016. The newest car i ever bought at the time. So 3.5 years, then 8.5-9 years...maybe i'll trade my car in in a few more years

I've had my truck since 2007. No plans to get rid of it. But I also have another vehicle I added about 5 years ago because it's cheaper to drive and easier to maneuver in these parts

8 years. I would keep my 2013 Malibu a year longer, but its had some bugs and glitches and I need something better that won't nickel and dime me.

I usually get my wife a new one every 8 years. I'm driving a 2003 pickup and have no plans to replace it.

@Stereoguy I will probably stick with Chevy. My wife's last vehicle was a Honda, and I hated it. She loves her Chevy Traverse. We have had great service from Chevy vehicles over the years.

I have a beater that I use for errands and to drive in winter so if the salt eats it so be it. It鈥檚 a 2000. My good vehicle is a 2012 so is due to be updated.

Run them into the ground! Had a Nissan truk 400K. Eventually the tranny went and I donated it. They fixed the tranny and sold it for a nice price.
