@popmol My aunt & uncle had young relatives that would come and stay for most of the summer, it was really fun for them that lived in town or a city.

@popmol If you flew to the USA, and you are not afraid to fly, this is really no different. There were seats for 12 on our little plane, and the pilot was recommended very highly, the friend of a relative with whom we were staying. We would never have known about the possibility of flying through the Grand canyon if it were not for that connection...and it was cheap, at the time.

You do NOT get good views of the incredible beauty of the Grand Canyon standing on the rim with all the other tourists.

@GerOttman mmh not sure about that sandwhich the soft bread the gooey sauce and the dry looking meat all seem meh overall!

@popmol The bread is a Amoroso's roll, made fresh locally every day. The sauce is Cheese-whiz, when you order it's "Whiz-Wit". You can get American or Provolone, but Whiz is the traditional order. The meat is not "dry" but any means! It's a local delicacy and really, really good!!

@popmol It's a great experience; maybe try a couple of shots of Cognac first? Or tequila? The other amazing thrill ride is the Big Shot at the Stratosphere Hotel in Las Vegas which is not a rollercoaster but is a truly unforgettable experience.
