How long have you gone without drinking alcohol?

I’ve been sober now for 118 days. Prior to that the longest I’ve gone since I started drinking was 9 months while pregnant.

It's been a looooonnnnnnnnnng time. I love to drink, but afraid to now. I am going to try to have one soon and see if I can handle it. Probably start off with wine. I don't think I can do the hard stuff anymore. I am afraid that it will trigger anxiety so since developing this severe anxiety I decided not to drink anymore..well, I trained myself to believe that I can't drink anymore or something will happen to me.

havent drank in about two years. after years of drinking, i have developed somewhat of an allergy to alcohol. my body does not process it now, and when i drink i feel awful. its probably a good thing though. i got other vices to keep me busy though. LOL

Three years. Ordered off it by doctor to my chagrin but don't miss it except socially. I used to love whiskey and was quite a wine connoisseur. Health first!

I'm not much of an alcohol drinker. I will usually have one drink for my birthday each year and that is about it. However I haven't done that in many years.

I never go without it for very long anymore. I'm an alcoholic.

In March, I went a whole month.

Recently, usually 5 days at a clip. I rarely drink during the week.

Are you recovering? Or just cutting back?

It's been over a year

Last week during the fireworks party. God rid of my headache and alleviated my depression for a bit. Been a while since I've drank before that though

I had a couple of sips of a drink with vodka in it the other day. That was the first alcohol I've had in I don't know how many years.

I had stopped drinking at the end of 2016 and had started drinking again in 2019. So three years for me.

It’s 11AM, and I’m on my 4th tequila of the day. I’m palstered. 🤪

December 27th 2016 was the last time I drank.
