Does anyone else feel like health is for rich people?

Whenever their body breaks down it's no problem. They can go get fixed up again without batting an eye. When my body decides to act up welp shit better get out the tape and chewing gum. Damn left hip

The BEST health care is what rich people enjoy. I am dirt poor but had my left hip replaced through state insurance.

@Fernie From 5 to 48? Holy shit and here I am whining about a pain that has only started showing up in the past year or so. It's scary to me because I am currently unemployed and I can't afford to be out of commission with a surgery and that recovery time. Then there's the matter of the cost and who will take care of me when I get sent home after the hospital stay. Oh man the hospital bill alone for the room is going to be sky high. I just don't know.

@Astro I was dirt poor with no insurance and no family or friends. I don't know where you are on the planet but...at least look into finding out if you are eligible for low income health insurance. Really, research low income everything...google your situation. You will be surprised what is available. If you are receiving unemployment checks...I would also talk to them about this. When I went to apply for food stamps that is when I was told that I could get a hip replacement even though I was poor. RESEARCH!!!

Yep! Can't afford to see a doctor for what appears to be adult onset asthma so instead of a handy inhaler I brew a tea with ginger and lemon that seems to work. Hopefully it's not lung cancer because I can't afford to die either, lol

All people need healthcare not just people who can put money into the pockets of insurance company's that decide what is covered and what isn't. Profit before people ? Trump said it would cost more money than what we (?) bring in. I'm sure it wasn't a problem for him when Melania went to one of the finest hospitals, Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, in the country and then he talked about the great quality of the care she received.
