New: Hide Post from Feed 👁️❌

I'd like to announce some new features released recently 👍
[big]Hide Posts from Feed 👀[/big]
As requested by our users, sometimes there are posts we don't want to keep seeing in the Feed, so we provided you with an option to Hide that Post.
Press on the "[u][b]Report/Flag[/b][/u]" button located at the top-right corner of the post in the feed, and then select the option "[b][u]Hide Post[/u][/b]".

The post will no longer appear on the Feed.
If you are subscribed to the post, however, you may still get notifications.
The post will continue to be accessible through the user's profile.
[big]Share or Bookmark Posts 💾📡[/big]
We now provide two new buttons on the Posts:
[b]1) Share Post[/b]
Share a link to the post in your favorite app. For example, if you want to easily send the link as a message to some friend.
[b]2) Bookmark Post[/b]
Saves a link to the post in a private collection. You can have multiple collections created by you, with your favorite posts you saved for later. Only you have access to these collections.

You can also [b][u]disable[/u][/b] the Share and Bookmark buttons for all your posts, in your Privacy Settings.

- Private or Limited posts remain private/limited.
- Sharing or Bookmarking a post does not create a copy of the body of your post.
- If you ever delete a post, it will become inaccessible even if it was shared or saved in the past.
- This is not different than someone manually copying the link or bookmarking in their browser.
- Please note that no website can control whether someone copies the text or takes a screenshot of your post.

@Nuno would just a hide, mute, block or report user be a possibility on a comment via the same flag?

Though a change or two in the past, may not be something I'd choose, I appreciate your dedication and best efforts, in all your hard work.
You certainly can't please all the people all the time, as interests are diverse, and I think people should appreciate how hard you and your team have worked, from EP, to our SW site. I don't feel other sites could ever match this, however, strictly as my own personal opinion, I feel simple design, is better design, and makes for much better navigation. Meaning, the easiest to understand and navigate, as I feel the more bells and whistles added, the greater the chance for site overkill and confusion. But...that's just me.
I have to be honest. There's only one change I do not like to this day, and never will, and WHY it was changed, I'll never know, because it was absolutely perfect the way it was. It didn't Need fixing. Now...I really hate it, I'm sorry. I find it an extremely irritating mess. That's why I truly even hate going to the questions section now, and can't get used to it. I used to enjoy it. Not anymore. I know many prefer all the glam and glimmer. Being old-fashioned, 😂🤣 yes, I admit it, but only as far as a couple things in life, I prefer what I call the "basic, clean, bare necessity format", in thinking of newcomers. Yet!! I can't deny you've done a great job. Thus, I sincerely thank you, as you have our best interest heart, and it shows.

Not likely to use them. Especially the share and bookmarks.
Foxfire's bookmarks and share features do the same thing. Collections are basically just like folders and I can embed folders at multiple levels.
On the hide featured, it's unclear what effects it does to that user. So until this is made clear I won't use it.

Additional note.
Must say that both sharing and bookmarks might make more sense if you also include them on first level replies.
As long as there is a link, which there is on the time/date stamp, Foxfire can do both posts and first level replies.

Just now I noticed people starting to talk in a moths old post, which I don't like. Obviously I can't get the original post back in my feed. Does that mean I can't mute that post?

@mysteryespresso I think the reason they changed it was that not everything people post is a question, so you can't necessarily answer everything.

Awesome changes! I don't understand the first one though: Why would we need to hide a singular post from our feed, that we already saw? Wouldn't it be better if we could just hide all posts from some users (without completely blocking them)?
I also wanted to ask, about the post collections! Why not make it so we can choose to make them public? It would be really cool to be able to see other people's favorite posts! ☺️

When I click on the post to read it, I do not have that option.
The only way I have those options is from my feed/home. I have to click on the flag from there without opening that post.
