I'd like to announce some new features released recently π
Hide Posts from Feed π
As requested by our users, sometimes there are posts we don't want to keep seeing in the Feed, so we provided you with an option to Hide that Post.
Press on the "Report/Flag" button located at the top-right corner of the post in the feed, and then select the option "Hide Post".
The post will no longer appear on the Feed.
If you are subscribed to the post, however, you may still get notifications. The post will continue to be accessible through the user's profile.
Share or Bookmark Posts πΎπ‘
We now provide two new buttons on the Posts:
1) Share Post
Share a link to the post in your favorite app. For example, if you want to easily send the link as a message to some friend.
2) Bookmark Post
Saves a link to the post in a private collection. You can have multiple collections created by you, with your favorite posts you saved for later. Only you have access to these collections.
You can access your Bookmarks here:
Social menu -> Bookmarks
https://similarworlds.com/bookmarks
You can also disable the Share and Bookmark buttons for all your posts, in your Privacy Settings.
Please Note: The 'Share Link' and 'Bookmark' buttons do not impact your privacy: - Private or Limited posts remain private/limited. - Sharing or Bookmarking a post does not create a copy of the body of your post. - If you ever delete a post, it will become inaccessible even if it was shared or saved in the past. - This is not different than someone manually copying the link or bookmarking in their browser. - Please note that no website can control whether someone copies the text or takes a screenshot of your post.
---
Thank you for your support and we hope you continue to stay with us.
We are constantly listening to your suggestions, so please keep giving them to us, as they are very important to the future of Similar Worlds.
Very kind regards, 𧑠- The SW Team

I like the direction your going here. My own complaint is that it doesn't feel right to report a post when all one wants to do is hide it from their feed. But it's nice that it's an option.
@Nuno But you have to press the report button to get there. I'm generally reluctant to click anything labelled report or flag in case it has some immediately negative effect.
