When a guy gives all his attention to you

And then goes from giving you 100% of his attention to zero almost overnight.
.
What’s the name for that?

I know I've just shared a story of relating on a previous post of yours...
But as you rephrase your narrative now, I'd say, that's called making space in your life,
a clearing for best suited things for you to come in. 💓 He doesn't suit you as he hasn't earned your trust, being unstable and inconsistent.

Live your own life, don't make it dependent on others.

Here is something relatable to you... There was this man we've been talking through messages for the past 8-10 months. He kinda ghosted me, I did the courageous act of coming forward and telling him the truth about how I experienced his behaviour. He moved furthermore back, and I felt at peace, knowing where I stand - nowhere !
But I'm good with that. It did hurt but I did come in terms and told myself, if someone cannot love my wholeness, why would I want to be next to that hell .

Sounds like some internet men. Or ghosting or a coward. But also can be one with avoidant attachment issues.

Truth is, all of the terms used by others here can be valid but we cant know which one is the real one as we are not there to experience both sides.
He could be a love bombing narcissist, an insecure guy who got his feelings hurt, or any number of things.

Maybe your closest friends have more perspective but anyone else has perceptions colored by their own past experiences.

@pripyatamusementpark Hmm.. I've never heard that term. Makes sense!
@Tumbleweed a toxic trait of narcissists
