Quite a few experiences where I work. Extensive history of accidental deaths.
Minjiseong · F
@icedsky oh where do you work tho?
icedsky · 51-55, M
@Minjiseong Originally it was a lumber mill way back in the 1890s. Expanded into paper and pulp production and added power generation equipment. Lots of abandoned buildings, tunnels and rusting equipment.

Yes a few years back. I am convinced there was a ghost/spirit or something in the house. Heavy footsteps, doors slamming and so on. People thought I was crazy till my son heard it too.

@Minjiseong I moved and everything is quiet and fine now :)
I had sleep paralysis nearly every day for two months some years ago. It stopped once I realized something.

When I’d attempted to call my sister, who I shared a room with, for help, the “thing” in the room would say her name repeatedly in a creepy voice while I was unable to speak. When I imagined spreading wings and attacking the thing, I could feel it’s fear of me. When the thing or things would jump on my back, I’d wake to remember seeing my own back.

I realized that the “thing” was me. That’s why it said my words and I could feel what it felt, and I remembered seeing my own back from its perspective. After I realized that, the sleep paralysis stopped except for one other time more recently.

Anyways yeah sure. And also if you mean certain dreams I have had that actually come true. So I dreamt something and few months or year(s) later it actually happens in my real life..like WTF scary..and some recently happened these past few weeks 😬😒🤦‍♀️🙈😱🤷🏼‍♀️ I dunno why but it is odd and kinda creepy.

I've had sleep paralysis a couple times. After a few seconds I realize what is going on and I try to wake up fully
Minjiseong · F
@deadgerbil wow, could you see anything ?
@deadgerbil Sleep paralysis isn’t spooky when you find out why it happens. But anything else shows that you can’t trust your senses.
deadgerbil · 22-25
@Minjiseong I remember seeing some dark figure trying to attack me so I teased up my stomach hard but then knew what was going on but even after waking up fully my muscles were sore from that
Notanymore · 36-40, M
I really value my sleep too much. Damn paralysis demons know better than to screw that up.
I’ve posted this before. Waiting for a train, and looking at the track, the thought pops into my head, “ death on the rails, blood on the tracks.” Quickly dismissed it. Later that night enroute home our train struck and killed a suicide victim.

I spent 17 years stationed on airfields that had been active since world war 2, and a regular job was gate guard and night time security, and yes one or two occasions I was definitely spooked by things I saw or heard.
Torsten · 36-40, M
yep when I had really bad insomnia years back and was self medicating with all sorts of things I should not have to deal with it.
Had several type hallucinations from it. Creepy stuff
BackyardShaman · 61-69, M
Plenty of times, my house is certified haunted, although the ghosts are not evil. Also I go out of my way to stay in haunted hotels, motels, etc.

The voices you hear are your husband's snores.
Minjiseong · F

SW-User
@Minjiseong Good because I'm looking for a wife 😏

Yes, these:

"Hypnagogic hallucinations, also sometimes referred to as waking dreams, are a type of hallucination that occurs as a person is drifting off to sleep. In general, hallucinations involve seeing, hearing, feeling, or smelling something that is not actually present. Hypnagogic hallucinations primarily involve seeing things that are not there."
