He really is a narcissist.

I'm sorry but it's only a dead end with narcissists. They don't change. They only show a version of something to make us believe in them. Thing is expecting them to change is like banging your head on a wall expecting something but you'll end up bleeding.

Word of wisdom, it's hard to change someone else. I'm 60. I been thru it, my adult kids been thru it, my family been thru it, including my friends. Rarely you get anyone to change.

Narcissists don’t change because they blame everything they do on other people and expect them to adapt to what they want.

Sad thing is it’s a choice they are free to choose otherwise they just don’t want to … but yes it is possible to melt a cold heart if they want it.
