Grandma put everything in take out containers. took me over an hour to find butter for my toast

If they're a washable plastic with a tight fitting lid, then I'll reuse them.

I do when they come in plastic containers. Free tupperware.

I just saw an article about plastic containers that recommended recycling them but advised against reusing. They said the forever chemicals and micro plastics leach out into food or liquids that we then ingest. This process is increased by microwaving.

Depends. Most are made too cheap to reuse. But the containers from like Longhorn are perfect to bring lunch to work and not have to worry about bringing them home.

If they are good quality I reuse them a couple times. They are hard to sterilize so I don’t keep them long.

Nah, they've all been cardboard or paper. So straight to the recycle bin they go.

We do how ever save glass jars and lids and reuse for canning food
