Someone who I had chatted to and then muted, then eventually blocked, messaged me under a different profile and said I was being spoken about in the background.

Wasn't bothered, I'm so unremarkable, there really isn't much about me to talk about.

She was a horrible vindictive ***t though, really nasty

@Straylight I didn't see that comment. I'm probably blocked but I have an idea who that is and if it's who I think it is, he should consider himself lucky that I've not called him out yet. There's several I haven't from when I was first on here.

Yes. They didn't mention me by name but they had said some very insulting things to me, so I had a go at them for it and because I'm usually very chill and objective they created a narrative that I was a person who pretended to be nice but was a terrible person haha. Reality is I get angry too but rarely.

The post kinda inferred I was a narcissist or something (the old internet pop psychology labels) but I'm cool with it because I know they had personal problems and their own narrative. I wish them the best and such. I've never talked about it openly because I don't like gossiping or drama and I think they were just hurt.

Mmhmm. The ones I’m aware of have been positive and definitely brought out the dorky giddiness that I’ll deny exists so I can retain my laminated tough chick membership card. But because there’s always a balance, I have been the subject of a couple of not so great posts from grown men who thought trashing me in public could somehow ease the rejection they felt from me. To each their own though.

@PhoenixPhail in most cases, id become a confidante of these friends. They'd asked my advise or opinions and id been supportive during their low times.
But, you know how it goes. Say something they dont like, or be too honest with them...suddenly they see you as interfering judging...they dont want you around anymore.

I've only seen that happening rarely, but most times it was positive then. 😊

Unless we talk about some classified info from Trump or similar. Then there's loads of posts and people weren't saying positive things. 🙄

Yes and it was positive. It pleased me and made me feel good about myself. I wasn’t mentioned by name and anybody seeing the post wouldn’t have known it was about me but I was told in a pm.
