No ungratefulness when they paid all the bills,fed, and clothed us.
We did not seem to care if they understood us there was a kids world and a grown-up world and,I felt safe.

@PinkMoon it was a crazy time for sure. A lot simpler and super fun, though.

@PinkMoon I say that about younger generations thank goodness I was not born later ...I think it's all subjective and perspective.
If we were really hurt we got taken care of...whining and being coddled for everything wasn't tolerated.
