Have you ever ate a veggie burger with bacon?

That was the beginning of the road to divorce for me, lol. My ex wife decided unilaterally that we were now vegan. After listening to me complain about how horrible vegan meat substitutes were for three days, she finally told just to find a way to make it better. The next day she came home to find me cooking a veggie burger in the bacon grease left from the bacon I had just cooked to put on it. She was not impressed 🤣

There's a restaurant not far from work that was advertising a veggie burger with plant-based 'bacon' on a gluten free roll. The claim on the sign was "tastes just like the real thing, or is close enough."
