I think 75% of being a parent is finding their backpack. Again.

How come kids have no clue where they put things ?

I seem to be able to find everything they have misplaced ... I even had to play sleuth , but they get upset when I ask for the obvious clues ..

Eg
When did you last use it ..?
Do you think you know where you might have last used it?
Have you tried the junk drawer ? Your Nanna sometimes puts things in the junk drawer ?

That's why I keep putting things back in the same place, so I know where to look when I lose them.

I lost my keys, they should be near the keys holder.

I found surgical attachment the only practical solution; unfortunately, child services and courts didn't allow that.
