No idea. A lot depends on the circumstances.
I have no idea how or when it will happen.
If it's slow enough and I have the opportunity to know that I'm dying, I'll make sure that I make any amends necessary, tell my husbands and friends that I love them, and thank them for having been such a wonderful part of (my experience of) life.
I try to mop mistakes as I go along, so hopefully there might not be any amends needed when the time comes.
I have no idea how or when it will happen.

I discovered that peace is what most of we elderly enjoy the most - the way an old dog loves quiet walks, sniffing all the smells and lots of long naps.
It is primarily a state of mind that comes from complete acceptance of all that is: aches and pains, the quirks of people, the state of the world, the inevitability of the sum of it all -- and the transience, the constant states of change. While pain and decay are real, so is the beauty, wonder and vastness of it all.

I have this feeling that it will either be in my sleep or suddenly out of nowhere.
If however, I do have the chance, I hope I have the energy to smile, look reassuringly to my closed ones and say "Thank you, I love you, live well, be brave". If I have more time I will also say don't worry I'll be fine, I'm still with you in your heart.. I'd wish specific good things to happen to my loved ones like it's a Christmas gift list and I'll probably continue saying I love you on repeat because honestly I think it is the most beautiful thing. I would want to give more love with every breath I have. 🩷

My thoughts are either we sleep eternally or see our lived ones.
As for going to heaven or hell, I dont believe in that.
I have a totally different belief system and side more with science/evolution over creation. But that's me. Not wanting to stir up any trouble on here.
