You would think it’s hilarious, because to you illegal immigrants aren’t people going through tough times, they’re just pawns for your political stunts.
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
@JPWhoo And you are ok with people breaking the law for political gain.
JPWhoo · 36-40, M
@MrBrownstone Who’s breaking the law for political gain?
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
@JPWhoo You said illegal immigrants.
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
@JPWhoo It's not an all or nothing thing, they can be both. Why can't we have a orderly and fair immigration process into this country? Why do we reward people who cross the border illegally? It shouldn't be easy to come here, we want the best and the brightest, they should offer something to this country and work towards being a legal citizen.

@AbbySvenz Being born in America makes you native American. Got worse news for you.
AbbySvenz · F
Tell that to the Native Americans @MrBrownstone
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
@AbbySvenz I did and they agreed. You still working on proving your "uncle" is a forest fire expert?
AbbySvenz · F
I never claimed he was a forest fire expert, I said he’s a siviculturist with the Forest Service @MrBrownstone
AbbySvenz · F
Which tribe did you visit to speak to? @MrBrownstone
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
@AbbySvenz Which you still have not proven. You need to sit this one out till you learn to back up what YOU say,
AbbySvenz · F
You first @MrBrownstone
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
@AbbySvenz Nope. You made a claim first. You know you can admit you lied. Won't kill you.
AbbySvenz · F
You’re the one claiming that I lied, and demanding that I “prove it” doesn’t count as supporting that claim @MrBrownstone
JPWhoo · 36-40, M
@MrBrownstone Illegal immigrants don’t give a shit about political gain, they’re just trying to start new lives with decent living standards.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@JPWhoo Everybody gets in, drug trafficker's, murderers, human traffickers, everybody! Ain't Amerika wonderful!
AbbySvenz · F
Funny, how most traffickers caught at the border are those with legitimate reason to cross. Legally. And a good portion of those are American citizens @sunsporter1649
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@AbbySvenz How many you got living with you today?
AbbySvenz · F
… how many what..?@sunsporter1649
CactusJackManson · 51-55, M

No, that is according to Customs and Border Patrol numbers https://www.cbp.gov/newsroom/stats/drug-seizure-statistics
Here are some more facts:
39 percent of Americans and 60 percent of Republicans believe, “Most of the fentanyl entering the U.S. is smuggled in by unauthorized migrants crossing the border illegally.” A more accurate summary is that fentanyl is overwhelmingly smuggled by U.S. citizens almost entirely for U.S. citizen consumers.
…
*Fentanyl smuggling is ultimately funded by U.S. consumers who pay for illicit opioids: nearly 99 percent of whom are U.S. citizens. [https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6968850/]
*In 2021, U.S. citizens were 86.3 percent of convicted fentanyl drug traffickers—ten times greater than convictions of illegal immigrants for the same offense.
*Over 90 percent of fentanyl seizures occur at legal crossing points or interior vehicle checkpoints, not on illegal migration routes, so U.S. citizens (who are subject to less scrutiny) when crossing legally are the best smugglers.
The location of smuggling makes sense because hard drugs at ports of entry are about 97 percent less likely to be stopped than are people crossing illegally between them.

*Just 0.02 percent of the people arrested by Border Patrol for crossing illegally possessed any fentanyl whatsoever
