@Justmeraeagain People voting-defending famous criminals are just people that would love to be in the same position as them, and gain the 'right' to commit things above the laws...
@Carla I don’t think we became apathetic. I know I didn’t, but I do think many became discouraged and didn’t think anything we did could stop it. In 2016, it looked like Russia was hacking our system to get Trump elected. Other than going to war, what could be done ? It’s also what makes his claims that the 2020 election was "stolen" so ironic.
@bijouxbroussard The Supreme Court placements he made, and their decisions will be the longest impacts any President has had for a while. Unless Congress steps up to try and balance the court we are going to be in trouble for a long long while.
Imagine if you went back in time and told people "Former governor Arnold Schwarzenegger condemned president Donald Trump for the attack on Capitol Hill."
@BohemianBabe I kind of want to see a comedy sketch where that happens now. Time traveler from the future goes back to the year 2000 to warn people, and gets laughed at and called a lunatic.
Only because Americans allowed a fraudulent election to take place and Trump was replaced with a man with a debilitating brain disorder often associated with old age.
Well, he didn’t start any wars. So I feel he’s not the worst leader there’s ever been. I’m saying that thinking how lucky we are to not have Putin deciding our country.
@bijouxbroussard Sure, I can see that, but lack of diplomacy is very different from deliberately invading a country for conquest. Trump never did that, but we live in a time where someone has. So I count us lucky.
@11knaves11 By giving up his salary? Yeah if you want to see a real rags to riches story look at Obama. Pure sleaze from him and his best buddy Big Mike.
@Ontheroad the first time I heard him speak at any length I thought "no way", but apparently someone who speaks like a not quite bright adolescent can be elected president
