I suspect that it was at my father's funeral in Iowa.
The service was at a small Franciscan chapel, and the priest had one of those big ball censers filled with smoking incense...and he kept swinging it...and the smoke...right at me.
I assume it was supposed to cleanse or bless us or drive out evil or some such thing...and I started sneezing uncontrollably...smoke in, devil out!!! 🤣🤣🤣
