Does anyone ever feeling this way?

I am a 21-year-old woman, and I don’t know how to do makeup(i dont mean to be pick me girl)—maybe I can only use powder or cushion and lipstick, but I mean real makeup, the kind that truly looks like makeup.

I can’t dress up in a way that’s too feminine. Even though I really want to.

Actually, there are some factors behind all of this, but never mind.

I feel like I don’t deserve to feel beautiful or to do things like that.
Even just wearing lipstick, sometimes I feel like it’s too much… If I already put on lipstick, I usually end up wiping it off, even though it’s not even that much. My friend sometimes says:

“Why do you look so pale?”
And I reply, “No, I already put on lipstick.”

Sometimes i wanna be like them.. But inside me telling me
'I dont deserve it, everybody will judge you

Why do you feel like you don't deserve good things? If it's the mindset that is the problem, then surely the problem isn't limited to makeup.

If you let yourself miss out because you're afraid, you will continue to remain that way.

You don't have to like what everybody else like. You don't have to be like everyone else.

What you need to be is who you could become if you allow yourself to improve and be braver. If makeup is something you want to learn, then don't be afraid to look like a clown at first. Try and fail. Try and fail. Till you reach the part of try and succeed. In this world, it all comes down to what you decide to do and be and if you have the guts and effort to do and be that.

And yes, I realize that this perspective comes from the point of view of someone privileged.

My mom pushed me to learn makeup. She liked it. In the end, I ended up liking it too but I wear it differently from hers. Because I am my own person and I can do that. I learned what she knows, then I improvised to get the result I am comfortable to wear on my own skin. It's the way to be better.

I think you do you.
If you want to learn the basics of makeup application, go for it.
If you feel good dressing feminine, do so
It is not for others to judge you.
And do you want those types of people controlling what you do?
I don't mean anyone is forcing you not to do those things, but the fear of people's judgment is, do you want that to control your life?
Some people are enthusiastic naturalists and make it sound bad if you like to wear makeup, but it's not their face, is it?
I hate when people call people fake for something as simple as dressing femininely and wearing makeup and jewelry.
I have seen men vilify ordinary women as fake for wearing makeup, then go on to drool over actresses or models who are clearly wearing makeup.
You do what makes you feel good about yourself, because honestly, no matter what you do, someone is going to judge it as wrong.

Idk how to do make up too but that's fine.
I do simple things like lipstick and blush. that's it.

why would you care of how someone judge you because of how you dress? does it makes them feel good too or not?
others will always have an opinion and as long as you didn't hurt anyone it's okay to do what makes you feel good

have a good day and wear make up and dress up, you're enough and you deserve it 🥰

I prefer not applying makeup to doing it wrong and look cheap. I never learned how to do it properly because it's fun for a day and then it's just annoying to me. It's something that requires trial and error, takes time to gain skills and costs much more money than I've even been willing to pay for something that I don't even see much use of for myself and that I'll throw away barely used later. I have hooded eyes, so if I apply eyeshadows, I don't even see it. I never really liked how my face looks so it's always like putting all this stuff on and still I won't like it because I can't change my bone structure. Nowadays I don't apply makeup also because I don't like how it feels on face.
Wear what makes you feel good about yourself and confident.

Check YouTube for tutorials.

Makeup can look very natural. You can find makeup that conceals without making you look dramatic
