@Ceinwyn I guess for them it isn’t. In the U.S. a few generations ago I’m told some Americans were actually ashamed of being of Irish descent, when it was connected with crippling poverty.

@Ceinwyn That’s true, sadly. And there are folks bigoted against those of us from the United States, in spite of the fact that we now have roots from just about every corner of the globe. Our country exists because it was originally invaded, too. And a surprising number are still trying to make this their home. 👩🏽‍💻
