@exexec I hope so. After Helene we had power back within 10 hours. That is the fastest we have ever had our electricity restored. The longest was after Irma. That took 14 days to get power back.

@Musicman Good luck! Maybe the work crews are in your area right now. We sent a bunch from Texas.

@exexec We saw them coming in. They are steadily working. They have power back on this morning to the main road through town. Walmart and the grocery store are opening back up today.

@Blondily We are going to stay the weekend here in Alabama then head back to Florida on Monday.

@4meAndyou Current plan is Monday morning. I-75 South is already a parking lot of people trying to come home. That's why we decided to wait for Monday. Let everyone else spend the weekend on the highway.

@KingofBones1 Two years ago after Ian we reported a claim and FEMA, who every one has to buy flood insurance from, told us they had no intention of paying and to apply to the SBA for a small business loan. I'm sorry, but at $4000 a year for seven years at that point what kind of who hockey is that! 😡😡😡😡

@PoetryNEmotion My bed time routine is to make sure all the doors are closed and locked. Then I get ready for bed. I sit in the bedroom and clear all the evening messages off my phone. Then it's off to bed. Sometimes I will stream a little music too. 🙂 I am actually doing that right now.

@stound Yes we did! We are in Ashford Alabama right now. It is a super small town, but only 8 miles from civilization. Lol!!!
