Roommate was drinking last night and that makes him honest
I was talking to him about my plan to start working out again and getting back in shape, and he said, "You can't change your body shape, it's just who you are. And your chubby cheeks are hereditary."
It kind of deflated me to the point where I don't even want to work out. What's the point? He's right, I can't change my body shape. I'm always gonna be big because I'm built big. 😞 Wide shoulders can't be changed with weight loss. My cheeks are hereditary, both my grandma and my mom had them, when they were not overweight.
He must have noticed the look on my face because he said, "Just accept who you are, however you are." But that's not easy when society is constantly telling you you're second-rate because you're not built with curves like a Coke bottle.
