Which would not be a good idea. I can remember someone doing that in 1973. Caught, up before the beak, fined. He had about 182 litres (40 imperial gallons) of the stuff. Complained that he was 'paying the price for every Tom, Dick and Harry who's been hoarding petrol'. Antisocial and a big safety hazard.

The good news about all this crap is it's only going to accelerate the energy transition to green, renewable energy.

@MrBrownstone in the uk it’s mostly wind and solar. Do wind and solar power any ICE vehicles? 🤭

@Waveney Since you can't focus on one subject no need to deal with ignorance. Have the day you deserve.

@MrBrownstone oh dear, throwing a strop because it wasn’t the answer you wanted? 🤭 I say again: in the UK,it’s mostly wind and solar; in other words, most of our public EV charging stations run on 100% or almost 100% renewable energy.

Gas lasts about 6 months, 9 if you buy premium. Not worth stockpiling it.

Hoarding is more likely to turn a difficult situation into a crisis . . .

The fuel situation is concerning, but panic hoarding isn't gonna solve it

I don't understand why they would, if you live in the US doesn't domestic production outmatch needs...its all very artificial
@Longpatrol it's a global market. American producers can continue to sell it domestically, but why would they do that for a low price if they could export it for triple the money?
