She's not your friend. She's using you.

That’s not actually a friend, it’s someone who basically sees you as an ATM. 🙁
There was an acquaintance whom I actually liked; she was fun. But I noticed that I didn’t hear from her unless she needed something (usually money), if I reached out she was generally "busy". I cut my losses and stopped providing "extra funds".
And if she’d gotten nasty when I couldn’t afford a loan, it would’ve happened a lot sooner !

I only had one friend ask for money, and since he was on food stamps, he really needed it. It wasn't a loan, and I was glad I was able to help him.

She sees you as an easy target and is taking advantage of that.
As long as you keep giving her money, nothing will change.
My advice is to cease "loaning" her money and ask for the money she owes you.
If she refuses to give your money back, then tell her not to ask for any more money.
You might have to give up on expecting your money back. Sometimes that is the price to be paid.
You can still remain friends, with the stipulation, "Do not ask for any more money"
Hopefully this lady is not your only friend, because this could cause you both to part company.

Not a friend, it's unfortunate but to be free of such will help boost your mood big time!!
Oneofthestormboys · 56-60, M
Respectfully, that sounds like a very strange friendship. She still owes you, but still keeps borrowing from you? Friends are friends, not banks. And if you were a bank, you’d tell her to pay back what she owes first.
Sorry that you’re dealing with this.
The fact that she gets nasty is showing that she’s only seeing you as a fool I’m afraid 😞

You're already dealing with health issues. You don't need this.

Stop being so nice and generous. She and many others are just using you. Most of them don't care about you and will always take advantage of your kindness. You're not a tool to be used and you're not their personal ATM
Stand up for yourself, cut them off and say NO

I'm only joking here before someone gets offended, but she probably sees how you spell and figures she can get away with it :)

Bc they know you’re well off and will say yes! If u want to change that, refuse to lend.

Try telling her you met a guy who will buy her debt from you for 20cents on the dollar, next time she asks. Mention he is central European..😷
