I waited patiently about a year but it continued. So be it, people grow apart.

@PatKirby It’s been longer for me. I guess it was just hard to accept but action is necessary on my part for my well being. I refuse to allow that.. I’ve been more than patient and forgiving. I am walking away with no animosity… just want peace of mind. Peace is more valuable than gold. You can’t put a price on it or buy it.

People can only treat us as we allow them to. I just hate to see a basically life time friendship be a thing of the past. 🤷‍♀

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout That’s always a possibility but I believe it is an addiction of pain meds that makes her like this. Totally not my problem tho… I immediately am backing off and out…

I’m not the kind of person that can just keep being poked. It wouldn’t be a good thing.

@HijabaDabbaDoo Exactly and it’s not healthy either. This person has taken chronic pain meds and I honestly think it has affected her mind. But either way I’m not hanging around to pick up on all the bad vibes and out of nowhere insults. It really makes no sense but for long term use of a heavy duty pain med for years…I hate it but I can’t let her mood swings affect me.

@Gusman I’ll feel better without this drama…. I’m just not cut out to let people throw insults at me covertly or overtly! It’s simply not who I am… and I don’t think anyone has to be a doormat!

@Gusman I’ve done it 3x before (one being a relative), but I never saw this coming. I hope once I back off and out, the toll it has taken on me passes quickly.

PS oh can definitely be strong over this and very certain, I will maintain it. She won’t know what hit her, I’ll be so swift with my actions…

@Unefilletrescurieuse he doesn't take Percocet. It would be whiskey. Again your question said how I WOULD deal with it. The only way my best friend would get like that was if he drank to much WHISKEY.

@Cigarguy I totally understood you very well with your last comment. I was just telling you ‘My friend’s’ problem is not booze but Percocet. If you go back you’ll see where I said her.
