If a long term friend started disrespecting you (in real life) out of the blue, how would you deal with it?

A friend of thirty+ years began disrespecting me out of the blue and I forgave him because of the stress he was going through. But when it didn't stop, I ended our friendship.

@PatKirby It’s been longer for me. I guess it was just hard to accept but action is necessary on my part for my well being. I refuse to allow that.. I’ve been more than patient and forgiving. I am walking away with no animosity… just want peace of mind. Peace is more valuable than gold. You can’t put a price on it or buy it.

People can only treat us as we allow them to. I just hate to see a basically life time friendship be a thing of the past. 🤷‍♀
