I stayed friends. They left me so I was usually hoping we could get back together.

I'm still friends with mine. We can talk now without screaming at each other.

Iv known her like 17 years. We dated for.. idk alot of that time. Yeah we still talk. No we will never get together again. We both have issues that only we understand because weve known eachother half our lives and been through some crazy shit. Shes more like a sister now. She sometimes complains about the guys she dates and i laugh at her poor choices in people. 😏

I move on. There is, however, one that doesn't count as an ex because we only went out one time, and just remained friends after that.

My ex wife and I are cordial, but I wouldn't say we're friends. We basically maintain a good relationship because of our kids.
