@Dusty101 I've never heard that one. Maybe they should look up the word in a libary. 🤭

'Gifting'.

'My Bad'.

'Woke'.

'Should of'.

'Eating healthy'.

'Mixtape' for music that's not on a cassette.

The list could go on and I'll be called a 'boomer' despite being too young. :)

I'm a foreigner, guilty of at least 2 of these and plenty of other not listed. 😀

But I'm annoyed by writing too instead of to.

"Literally." I once had a boss tell me she was up all night reading and her eyes were literally falling out of her head.

How come the 'who' instead of 'whom' and the 'women' instead of 'woman' are not in the list?
caPnAhab · 26-30, M
I could care less

Could you? Or couldn't you?
LordShadowfire · 100+, M
@caPnAhab Exactly! Exactly this! If you could care less, it means you do care!

So true @Jenny1234
When someone says, or when I hear an outgoing message say, "Someone will be with you momentarily." NOOO!!! Someone will be with me in a moment. If they're with me momentarily, as soon as they're with me, they'll be gone because they were with me momentarily.

I see 'gaslight' often misused.

It's an intent to drive someone crazy / trick them into feeling like they can't trust their own mind. It is not to trick someone into believing something, which is how I often see it used online.

Also the word "ignorance".

Myself, instead of me or I.
novaguy2u · 70-79, M
Ha! Ha! Love some of these options!
"...so without further ado." 😣
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
All of these things are colloquial language...no matter how they came to be....they are language and not "made up"

Espresso

Its pronounced "espresso", not "expressso".
tenente · 100+, M

I'm just going to go ahead and park this video here, since we're all naming stuff that he complains about in the video.
