I need at least 3 hours to start my day:
•5am wake up, coffee, read the headlines
•5:30-6:30am work out
•6:30-7:30am clean up, get dressed, get organized
•7:45-8am out the door going to my office

friend of mine wakes up at 7:50am and leaves home for work before 8am. how? just the thought of that routine gives me tremendous anxiety 😱

I think I'd benefit from a start like yours but I love to stay up late which makes early mornings difficult.

@Starcrossed my buddy is hong kong-ese and sleeps from 2am to noon 🤔 i'm like, how!?!?!
Starcrossed · 41-45, F
@tenente all the good TV before streaming was a thing used to be on at night.

@Starcrossed i feel like the golden age of streaming is over once they started adding tier pricing to avoid commercials and started cancelling good series after 1 season

well someone who wakes up that early and programs a time for work out is a morning person in my book. I consider being a morning person more of an attitude towards morning. I wake up , get out of be, have a shower, eat, have coffee and leave. I don't drag on and try to stay in bed or curse at the fact that I need to wake up. weather I'm working or not my routine is the same with the exception that if I'm not working I will leave for the gym or biking or skiing instead of leaving for work. the time between opening my eyes and geting out of bed is less than 5 minutes. some people say they wish they could stay in bed all day, I absolutely do not undertand this. I love life, can't wait to get going.

I'm a wake up at 730 and be out the door in 20 human. I'll set myself up the night before though. I'd rather have the sleep than drag out a morning. Too much routine makes me feel weird.

I can’t imagine 10 minutes, but I would love to be the kind that only needed an hour. Takes me that long just to prime the pump with enough coffee. 🙄😂
TrunkZ · 56-60, M
While I prefer having time in the morning, I tend to waste it watching news or some such and end up with 15 minutes to get ready 😬😬

No but work requires I be. With a 4 am start time. Now I am. And I get up like 3:15 am. Leave about 3:30 am.

Doing 24/7 shiftwork I'm a 'day' person as my work times can be anytime of the day or night.
scorpiolovedeep · 46-50, M
Yes.
I get up at 4:20am
Out the door by 5am
FeetAreFantastic · 41-45, M
Yeah, although technically when I get up at 5 AM it is night and not morning.
