@Musicman there were several who delivered pizzas that bought older gas-savers from the car lot where I worked. Most from Bangladesh but some people can’t distinguish Indians from Bengalis or Pakistanis either.
@nedkelly all our call centres mostly go thru to India and we can barely understand a word they say. The other day I had a chinese one that sounded like someone chucking.pots and pans down the stairs
@meggie Yes I have had the same experience. If they can’t speak well I tell them to learn to speak proper English so Americans can understand. I won’t deal with them.
And there is nothing wrong with that. At some time in the future, perhaps in 16 years, I will vote for an Indian American to become our American President! You know what I like about the Indian people? VERY few of them are "woke", and most of them work hard, as I was always taught to do.

Nikki Haley said in a recent FOX news interview that Trump supporters are not “normal”…a different spin on Hillary Clinton calling Trump supporters a basket of Deplorables. See how well that worked out for her. Nikki won’t win any Trump supporters over to her side with a remark like that.

@Monaschandroff86 well the English are to blame for that! They visited India uninvited and stayed for 200 years constantly saying that there is a better world where they came from! So Indians got curious 😃😃
@Monaschandroff86 You are right. Approximately 66% call center workers are in India, representing a significant portion of the global call center industry. Call center workers in India are largely under the age of thirty, unmarried, and college-educated, regardless of gender.
I don't know exactly, but there would be more than a million Indians working in overseas call centers, but there are 408 million Indians that are working part of Indian population. So it is even less than 0.25% of India's working population that work in overseas call centers. But they are enough to handle majority of call center requirements of US.
