Back when the ex and I were married, and I still ate pizza, that was my absolute favorite. We used to have a Pizzeria Uno in town...long gone. 😔

I don't dislike it and I went to UNO's often enough.
That said, I was born in NY, so the neopolitan style is my favorite to this day.
Also Sicilian is my second fav.
I amfortunate where I live now I have one place run by Brooklynites for my NY style fix and another place run by a pair of brothers from Sicily.

One time there was a pizzeria near me called Godfather's Pizza they had incredible deep dish about 2 in deep I'd be going over there and risk a heart attack about once a month.

Ever had Detroit style pizza? It's a form of deep dish (so I guess it's a Chicago style variant, or some near relative of it), but with emphasis on thicker crust. Pizza is good by default, but I really fell in love with the Detroit style.

I love it, but it's a lot, admittedly. I can only handle a very small slice. It makes up my cheese allotment for the entire week lol.

I prefer a thin crust pizza. I find bread hard to digest. I would much rather enjoy the toppings than the base.

Ive had this once in chicago. Its not all that its hyped up to be. NY pizza trumps it.
