Pizza doesn't need to be round in shape.. got it?

Pizza can be made.into any shape

I usually make rectangle shaped pizza cuz that’s the shape of the baking tin I have

Chicago is round
Detroit is rectangular
Sicilian pizza is rectangular
New york is round
Nepolitan is round
California round
Basically square or round seems to be the trend.

I care what it tastes like and the texture and the ingredients

The shape isn't that significant to me, other more traditional minds may disagree out of habit and expectation of pizza to be round

There was a cook in the last Aged Care home I worked who made Pizza for the oldies in a square. It was easier to cut up that way. She made everything from scratch, except the cheese, and it was the best pizza in the world.

Facts

In parts of Rome you can only buy rectangular Pizza which is cut to measure according to what you want to pay for. This is my actual experience of when I was there
