When ever I cook I take down the smoke alarm and hide it in my bed, just in case(both)

@FurryFace that’s a bit dramatic isn’t it?? You can put aluminum foil around it while you are broiling something and take it off after you’re done.

@cherokeepatti it used to stop when i aimed a fan at it but then nothing one day when it just went off again for nothing
I took the battery out of mine lol

Some people just disable it. But I guess that’s not really recommended. I bought a glass bowl convection cooker and can broil meat and not have my smoke alarm go off, that’s my preferred way to cook steaks and some other broiled meats
