So I made this Mtn Dew chicken [I Cooking]

I have committed an abomination to god, and brought hell ever so closer to Texas. Worse part is, it was okay
Here's mine
You better not mix that stuff with beef or else 😡
@BeefySenpie Don't make me angry and you'll never experience it, because I'll go a step further. Want to watch me boil wagyu beef in the leftover broth?
Nobody00 · F
A person that came from Thailand said that they do marinade meat and chicken in soda to make it extremely tender. How does it taste...
Nobody00 · F
Eeerrr I will probably use Seltzer...flavor FREE @hidingrighthere
@Nobody00 Where's your sense of adventure lol It's like you don't want to throw away your chicken
Nobody00 · F
Lol I don’t. You literally read my thought I swear @hidingrighthere
Caffeinated chicken?
@quitwhendone ...are you purposely being an idiot or do you need more pics of the cooking process? The first is the meme recipe, the second is the one I made
@hidingrighthere 🍗👍
@quitwhendone chicken stuffed with some burritos.

Could u eat it with a fork or did it turn into soup after all that acid?
@Nanori Actually I could eat it with a fork, although that's more because of the way I cook my chickens. But any meat that was left soaking in the broth was god awful. too acidic to be eaten.
Nanori · F
@hidingrighthere try marinating it in yogurt, onions, salt, pepper, and a bit of saffron
SweetMae · 70-79, F
I think you just needed to cook it at a high oven setting.
@SweetMae I'm fairly sure if I cooked it at a higher temperature it would've released a gas into my apartment killing me
SweetMae · 70-79, F
@hidingrighthere Oh no! I am glad you didn't then.
Longpatrol · 31-35, M
I'd try it.
Nobody00 · F
You probably will never look at Mnt Dew the same again after that. Before and after....chicken mnt dew flavor @hidingrighthere
@Nobody00 Ugh, don't remind me
Nobody00 · F
Sucks I know I love Mnt Dew@hidingrighthere
That looks good. Cannabis infused chicken is also good NGL.

Sounds sweet

@hidingrighthere Rah. What was it like?
@SW-User
the skin actually tasted pretty good, the mtn dew, lemon pepper, and salt came together in harmony, and the crispy skin push it up even higher. Now the meat, the meat was awful, imagine getting hit with the taste of chicken and the aftertaste of sprite (that moment where the taste of sprite is gone, all that's left is the carbonated water).
the broth was, awful, mountain dew and chicken broth aren't a good combo, imagine that.

I’m so curious how this tastes
@amelia25 I'll satisfy that curiosity, the skin actually tasted pretty good, the mtn dew, lemon pepper, and salt came together in harmony, and the crispy skin push it up even higher. Now the meat, the meat was awful, imagine getting hit with the taste of chicken and the aftertaste of sprite (that moment where the taste of sprite is gone, all that's left is the carbonated water).

@hidingrighthere thank you for the perfect description hahah. It sounds awful. 😂

Props for even trying this. :/
@SW-User I don't want props, I want someone to come and put a bullet in my head for pulling this stunt. The taste, the taste still haunts me to this day
SW-User
@hidingrighthere Live another day bro. Next time use sazon. )
SW-User
I laughed way too hard at this and I'm in public 😂🤣

Except for the water I like it
@Donotfolowme that isn't water, it's the broth from the chicken as it cooked. Covered in aluminum foil to keep the taste and juiciness in the chicke for an hour, then switched to uncovered to get it to brown
Donotfolowme · 51-55, F
@hidingrighthere I am sure it is what you saying but I could have only called it water, I would still say what i said
Bushmanoz · 56-60, M
Im not sure I have the courage to try that. Interesting to see you cook them that way up, in Australia we tend to cook them breast up..yours kinda look like they have drowned in the marinade.
@Bushmanoz never cook breast up, you want to cook it upside down so the juices cook downward and keep the white meat moist
Bushmanoz · 56-60, M
@hidingrighthere We tend to whack em on the weber, and use stuffing, they never dry out. But im going to try your way...minus the mountain dew, to see what its like. interesting just seeing the little differences. Good on your for giving this a try..so we didnt have to
@Bushmanoz Gonna have ptsd each time I drink some mountain dew lol Try my way while you're at it, cover in aluminum foil for an hour at 400, then switch to uncovered for 30-45 minutes.
