Is there anything more depressing then being alone in a bar ?

Emjay · 18-21, F Best Comment
Being wrongly convicted on death row, maybe.
ButterRobot · 51-55, M
@Emjay thankyou for the reality check 😅
DiegoWolfe · 36-40
@Emjay being alone on death row being wrongly convicted, with NO ONE believing you were framed
@Emjay Good point.

MyNameIsHurl · 41-45, F
Maybe playing.air hockey alone
Matt85 · 36-40, M
Have a few more and you'll end up talking to other customers lol.

YES. Sitting at the end of the bar so that the creeps will leave you alone, eating your hamburger and trying to mind your own business, and then a bar load of creeps comes in, and the main creep sits right next to you and pointedly asked if you "LIKE THE PICKLE". Big smirk on face.

Thankfully the bartender was also a woman, and she came over and asked me if I wanted my check and gave me an out.
@4meAndyou You must be super HOT, eh?
4meAndyou · F
@LoneVoice Not even a little. Some guys are just creeps.

That actually looks rather relaxing... LOL

Sometimes its just perception..
Morvoren · F
I sometimes quite like being alone in a bar. A seat next to the fire and decent wifi and I’ve no reason to move. 🙂

Being with someone you can’t stand in a bar?
ButterRobot · 51-55, M
@SW-User I’m starting to enjoy being here ;)

I was once the only single person at a New Year's Eve party.

At midnight, everyone had someone to kiss....except me.

That's where people expect people to go alone. 🤔

A couple's dinner would be the weirdest place to show up alone.
hunkalove · 61-69, M
Being alone in the back of a police car without your pants.
Mardrae · F
Wrongly being forced to pay the government $4,571 all at once for something that’s not your fault and not being able to drink alcohol anymore to soothe your anxiety.
ButterRobot · 51-55, M
@Mardrae thanks, I’m feeling positively grateful now
Mardrae · F
@ButterRobot you should
DrWatson · 70-79, M
I have spent time alone in bars, by choice, and I was just fine with it. I would strike up conversations with others.
Iwantout · 26-30, M
I don't think it's depressing I prefer it myself just me and my thoughts and a nice cold beer
Fluffybull · F
I often pop into our local pub for a coffee and a muse in life. If I found it "depressing" I wouldn't do it.
Repete · 61-69, M
Maybe if you wake up in the bar all alone and realize you missed the last call..
Magnolia21 · 22-25, F
Being with someone you can't stand at a bar is probably far worse
PoeticPlay · 51-55, M
Not being alone behind bars. 🤨
@PoeticPlay
Hey.

Hey! New guy!

Hey, you, with the hoodie and the whiskers! I'm talkin' to you!

Yes being in a bar with others. I hate people and the general public.
