Two days ago at church.

If I could afford it I'd have one installed in the rec room...
Lostpoet · M
@rinkydinkydoink you got a rec room
M00ed · F

GunFinger · F
When I was in highschool.
InstructHer · 61-69, M
As a boy in the park. They have died out since and plastic bottles litter the ground.
BillyMack · 46-50, M

4meAndyou · F
🤔🤔🤔...probably in high school!
WillaKissing · 61-69, M
@4meAndyou The Army after high school, old buildings and tech and that tech never got changed, LOL.

If rust or dust came out you just passed the fountain up.
emmasfriend · 46-50, F
Never.

If you want water in the English countryside, you take it with you.

And I have not seen one in town.
Justme264 · 70-79, M
@emmasfriend Absolutely. Just can't trust it anymore!
cherokeepatti · 70-79, F
I don’t even remember it’s been that long. Wouldn’t drink from the fountains at the university at all during the 25 years that I worked there, saw what students did to them.
February, while skiing in Colorado, at various on-the-mountain lodges. They all have bottle fillers, drinking fountains, re-usable cup fillers, etc. Skiers gotta keep hydrated!!
Adrift · 61-69, F
Probably when I was in school.
I usually just fill up my water bottle in them.
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
Several years, at the least.
Musicman · 61-69, M
Yesterday actually. Twice within the last five days.
hunkalove · 70-79, M
Before Covid. At least 10 years.
MissNen · 61-69, F
I don't remember but I drink our tap water. It's well water and it's great
Justmeraeagain · 56-60, F
I think my kids were still in elementary school so sometime in the late 90s
swirlie · 31-35, F
Probably 10 years ago was the last time. Today, I only drink water from a 'reverse osmosis' water source. This is because water from wells is contaminated with either agricultural chemicals or industrial waste which leaches down and eventually finds it's way into the water table beneath the surface of the earth. Water that comes from a drinking fountain is only water that comes from a chlorinated city water supply, but which is not actually filtered at source... only chemically treated then released for public consumption.

Even bottled water that comes from natural spring water sources is contaminated with agricultural chemicals and micro-suspended plastic from the bottle itself which stays suspended in the water.

Natural spring water is not treated at a water treatment plant before bottling occurs, which means it is only filtered down to a 20 micron solid contaminant standard at the bottling plant, which means any particle smaller than 20 microns in size sneaks through the filter and ends up in the bottle.

I don't recall any of the old-type drinking fountains in use after the 1960s.

Now though, some water companies and local councils in the UK have installed what are really only glorified taps, for re-filling water-bottles.

On sunday at six flag
Honestly, I can’t remember. But it hasn’t been recently.
I can't remember.
Adogslife · 61-69, M
I honestly don’t remember it’s been so long. If I had to guess it’d be 8 years…maybe 🤔
Degbeme · 70-79, M
JimboSaturn · 56-60, M
We have these "hydration stations" at my work where you can fill up your glass but I don't think that is what you really mean. Gee, I can't remember.
ArishMell · 70-79, M
@JimboSaturn "hydration stations", eh? They call 'em "taps" where I come from!
JimboSaturn · 56-60, M
@ArishMell 😂 Yes apparently, that is too old fashioned now.
DDonde · 36-40, M
Definitely not since covid… heck I dunno
