One ingredient that instantly ruins a meal Mushrooms

I didn’t learn to like mushrooms till I was 20 years old and then craved them. But if you don’t like them avoid them… And I would like to warn people against eating raw white button, crimini and portabello mushrooms. They need to be cooked at high heat to destroy some toxic that are considered carcinogens.

I like cooked chopped thin onions in recipes but huge raw chunks tastes terrible to me. My husband is the opposite, eats raw onions all the time. Despite that, we're still compatible 😆

My son hates them, too. He said it was a texture thing. Unfortunately, I love them, and I used to put them in soups and stews back in the day when I could afford them. When he used to complain about it, I would tell him to pick them out.

For me it’s broccoli. Sorry, I know it’s healthy and lots of people love it. I find the smell turns my stomach.

I don't like mushrooms either - in my young days,I never had to eat them because my mother didn't like them either and never added them to family meals.
