Hello ladies and gentlemen. Have you heard the latest news about this American restaurant. Well you should Google it then. Oh what controversy. Some people love them...some people do not. I think they are ok, but could be better. It's nothing to really brag about. The food is somewhat bland but has a traditional old fashioned Southern like taste. What do you think. There’s an outlet mall in Wrentham MA that actually has some decent stores. So, you can shop at Gucci and eat at Cracker Barrel all at the same visit if that makes any sense.
They serve primarily comfort food. It’s average. It’s the kind of menu that makes you think if you ate it daily, obesity wouldn’t be far away. They have a country store/gift shop attached which sells a lot of candy too if that’s your thing.
The food is average at best. Nothing to write home about. The store is better than the restaurant...a bit pricey but nice candy and jam section. TBH...Im suprised they're still in business with the mediocre food and overpriced trinkets.
ive been there once a long time ago. i thought the food was good. i got the hashbrown casserole and liked it so much i started making my own version at home.
eat- i dont rememeber there being cheese in it though. the copycat recipes all have cheese. i dont know if they changed it since then or not.
We generally stop for lunch during our drive to S Carolina. The food is okay, the bathrooms usually clean and their store has a wonderful candy selection.
I think I used to go there for lunch with my parents and my grandmother on occasion. I liked the atmosphere and the food was typical of any diner type food.
I asked them to change the barrel logo to a root beer barrel so that they could gain more popularity. And now they’re suffering the consequences of not listening to sage advice.
@Zonuss Yes really. I warned them they would be cursed for refusing the truth and that only evil finds its way into those who are rejecting truth. And now they have reaped what they sowed when mocking the precious drink of the blessed ones themselves.
The food is great! I don’t have any issue eating there. Im not sure what the problem is, mostly people with too much time to complain about insignificant nonsense!
It's decent. Just honestyle comfort and diner food. Which I like a lot but it's nkthkng adventurous or will knock your socks off. It's one of the actually decent chain restaurants though and not bad when you're driving and looking for familair food and a rest from tje road.
@HumanEarth I do wish people would use the term "search for it". There's so many other search engines that it's not funny. Nor was Google ever the only search engine.
