What is the most stomach churning food you have either ate or been offered..
Musicman · 61-69, MVIP Best Comment
Sushi. I couldn't swallow it. I had to spit it out.
Musicman · 61-69, MVIP
@cherokeepatti I had no idea.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@Musicman Yeah the main reason that I am so picky about what meats I eat and how I cook them and sanitation. I haven’t consumed pork since I was 11 years old or shellfish or catfish (bottom feeders that eat any rotten thing), etc. I got harassed so many times in 6th grade when other students would see what I wasn’t eating on my cafeteria tray…and even adults will get offended by what I don’t eat as if it is there business or something.
Musicman · 61-69, MVIP
@cherokeepatti It's definitely not their business. Eat what you want and they can have what they want. I am still trying to figure out what I want today.

I had testicles of some kind, I can't remember if they are beef or goat.
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M

I ate a guinea pig in Peru. Ate zebra and giraffe in Kenya . Ate horse in the Dominican Republic . Reindeer in Alaska , etc..
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
@Notsimilarreally the horse was a bit dry and chewy. Guinea pig tasted a lot like rabbit.
emiliya · 22-25, F
@AthrillatheHunt “I ate a guinea pig in Peru.”

This is terrible
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
@emiliya that and ceviche are like the national dishes there. It was oily and reminded me of rabbit . It was weird eating it off the bone though.
Lots of Swiss people eat horse . I lived there but didn’t eat horse there .

My friends once tricked me..they said I was eating a chocolate sauce at a Vietnamese restaurant. It was actually pig BLOOD !!🤢😫 I was not happy.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@Coralmist I wouldn’t be dining with them again, seriously. I worked with a friend from Thailand and one Saturday we went to a Chinese buffet and I got what I wanted. Sat down and she said this is really good, it was pork. She knew me for 15 years and knew I didn’t eat pork at all. Put a piece on my plate. Said “here try it” I just looked at her. I should have put it back on her plate. I didn’t eat and she never did that again. I think it irked her because I got chicken mostly at buffets, beef if they had it, no pork or shellfish for me. I have my reasons and it’s my business not hers.
Coralmist · 41-45, F
@cherokeepatti Right its your own taste or business for not eating pork and that is it. It shouldn't be too hard to respect a few simple things about someone. I am actually no longer friends with that group but that should have been a true red flag for me. They thought it was funny...well it just wasn't.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@Coralmist No it’s not. And people here can be so damned nosy into the whys or whatever and try to push their food choices on others. I heard it even when I was in my 40’s from a couple people I worked with. I finally told one “more pork for you if I don’t eat it” after he made another remark to me about it. He said “Yeah that’s right more pork for me”. And left me alone after that. I think it was because of his ego or self-centeredness that had him agreeing with me on that.

Menuno soup made from cows stomach 😣
Blondily · F
@calicuz I asked the waiter what he would recommend for a hangover and he told me that soup. I didn't like the texture or taste and asked him what was in it. After he told me I felt like vomiting. 🤢

I'm vegetarian, and always have been. When my mother was pregnant with me, she was vegetarian. After I was born, she never fed me meat. She eventually started to eat meat again, but I was never interested in it.

I love dairy (cheese, milk, yogurt are a significant part of my diet), so could never be vegan.

I don't like the look of any meat or dead creatures. I think seafood looks the strangest to me...
Balut.... (aka "The egg with legs")
