Have you ever had a monte cristo sandwich?

Yeah I've made that myself, I don't like it. It ruins the taste of the bread, you should instead cook the egg and place it inbetween the bread.

One popular way to make sandwhiches in sweden is called Poor Knight, it's basically pancake batter dipped toast, which I've never tried but it sounds better.

Yes they are savory from the ham and cheese, and a light sweet flavor from the French- toast like bread, with touch of syrup. Is it my favorite, no, but definitely yummy!! My fave for brunch is eggs Benedict 🌸
