My friends want me to get a tattoo but I don’t want to

You don't want one, don't get one. Next time they pressure you about it, don't laugh it off. Tell them, in no uncertain terms, that you don't want one and would appreciate it if they would respect your decision. Friends are supposed to respect our choices and support us.

And don’t let [b]anyone[/b] pressure you into it. You would have that tattoo, long after you and these "friends" have parted ways. Remember, [b]true[/b] friends would respect your right to say "no" especially about something this personal and irreversible.

If you don't want one don't get it

Body is the most personal thing everyone has. They should respect that. It's your body, not theirs. Tell them, "I am clear & decided about what I have to do with my body & skin".

I personally don't like tattoos, and would like to live the way I was born(god sent me).

It's a valid reason. I've got three and if it isn't for you, then I would say don't worry about it. :) If you have something you love, I'd say that's safest. But definitely never what someone ELSE says you should get. Long as it's an honest expression of who YOU are. The reason I've only got three is because I take forever deciding what I want. And with friends pressuring you, for all you know they could not be your friends later.. And the last thing I'd want, (and I assume yourself too) would be a reminder of them. Just make sure if you ever do decide you've given it thought. :) Think it's more impressive you're willing to say it's not your thing. Keep that attitude. ♥️✌️

Don't do it. A beautiful girl getting a tattoo is like spray painting graffiti on a work of art. You'll regret it for the rest of your life.

You dont need to get one. Man what if it doesn't turn out?. A couple of guys i work with have tats. Some look really bad.

DON'T get one unless you want one, It's your body.........I have two tattoos and didn't get my first one until I was 62 years old........I'm very happy with mine, but I got them for me. Lol. My first one I've wanted for a very long time and one day when I was at lunch with my niece, she said lets go get a tattoo after lunch, so we both got one...........

I've got 9 but don't regret any. All planned what I'm having and where. They are for life so needed to be thought through properly and with a good tattoo artist.
Never be pressured into doing it because it's not everyones thing.

Don't get any tattoos remember you'll be older someday and regret having one on your body, people still judge other when they see them with tattoos, listen to yourself and don't do what other people want.

it use to be getting a tattoo was unique but in recent times (last 20 years) everyone has one. Not having one now actually makes you unique. You don't have to follow the herd

Same here. I can't find anything I like enough to permenantly have on my skin. Don't do it. It's nice to see a untattoed body for a change.

injecting foreign substaince and let it trap inderneath yourskin for life time,i dont think is a good idea,some tattoo ink even contain carcinogens which is even danger.

I was the same way about tattoos until one day one of my best friends said he’d like to get me one for my birthday… this was a couple months in advance. I first kinda said “nah, that’s okay”. But the more I gave it thought, I eventually found something I really liked and had it placed on my upper back shoulder. I don’t regret it at all.
However, keep standing your ground on the matter with them. They need to respect your stance.
IF, you ever change your mind though, give it lots of thought on what you’d like and where you’d be okay with it. Lots of thought

I like tattoos too but i don't want permanent tattoo...i don't wanna regret later too... tattoos looks good on girls...
Small tattoos on neck or hand..but they must have some meaning to u...related to your personality or your liking or beliefs..

Just say no. I will never get one.

Don’t get one then that’s simple somethings you can change. I got one arm fully sleeved comes around half my back over my chest and my other arm half done it’s something you get a live with your whole life and it’s big money I’m well over $12,000 invested.

Friends DO NOT pressure you to do something you don't want to do. Stand strong and tell them you don't want to feel like a building with bad graffiti sprayed on it.

They want you to get one because they have one or them but I'd stay true to yourself.
